by | Feb 11, 2025 | Journey

February 3, 2025 – February 9, 2025 – Welcome to week 1 of My Journey to the Top 1%, where I will share my progress and experiences.

Health & Fitness Progress

This week, I focused on consistency and tracking, laying the foundation for long-term success. Here’s what I accomplished:

  • Weigh-ins: Every morning, I stepped on my Withings Body Smart Scale, which synced automatically with Apple Health. I started the week at 248.9 lbs and ended at 242.1 lbs, dropping 6.8 lbs in total.
  • Macronutrient Tracking: I logged all my meals in the Macrofactor app, gaining a deeper understanding of my typical foods and their macro breakdowns.
  • Caloric Intake: I successfully tracked all my meals to try and stay under 2,000 kcal per day.
  • New Fitness Tracker: My Whoop fitness and wellness tracker arrived on Wednesday night, allowing me to track my sleep, strain, and recovery.
  • Body Measurements: On February 10th, I measured a total loss of 4 inches across my body compared to February 3rd.
  • New Habits: I started waking up at 6 AM, eating breakfast daily, and making sure to move my body every day.
  • Challenges: Despite these improvements, I felt sluggish and unhappy adjusting to healthier food choices and a more structured daily routine.
